- Vagante is an adventure set in a dark fantasy world filled with monsters, demons, and crooks. Despite these dangers, adventurers commonly travel these unforgiving lands questing for fame, riches, and power.A recent rumor has it that a certain cave at the edge.
- Vagante is a roguelike in 2D in the style of Spelunky in which you control an adventurer whose objective is to find the treasures hidden inside a deadly dungeon. In the beginning, you have to choose between one of two characters: a warrior, who is stronger but less versatile; or an archer, who is less strong but can attack from a distance.

- Now files named readme.txt are ignored inside mod folders, so you can put credits, what your mod changes, things like that;
- ModLoader also ignores ignoreme.ignore files.
- Added an ExampleMod inside Mods. It shows what the structure of a mod should look like. It's a good template if you want to make your own mod! No need to delete the other folders -- they will be ignored if they only contain ignoreme.ignore files.
- Make sure you're not using old data.vra mods by checking the integrity of game files on Steam
- Once your data.vra is the original, unmodded one, proceed with the other steps.
- Download the latest version of vagante-extract from https://github.com/mtolly/vagante-extract/releases/latest
- Download the VaganteModLoader.zip (from the this page)
- Extract the VaganteModLoader.zip inside the Vagante folder (where vagante.exe is)
- Unzip the vagante-extract you downloaded
- Get the vagante-extract.exe inside it and place it inside the Vagante folder as well
That is in <Your steam library>steamappscommonvagante - Place the mod folder inside the Mods folder in the Vagante folder
That usually is in <Your steam library>steamappscommonvaganteMods - If the Mods folder doesn't exist, create it or run the modLoader once (By right-clicking VaganteModLoader.ps1 and selecting Run with Powershell)
- Your folder structure should look like this:

---------vagante-extract.exe
---------(everything else) - Right click on VaganteModLoader.ps1 and select 'Run with Powershell'

For reference, the Mods folder should look like this if you install a mod that changes the bonfire graphics:

To remove mods, just delete the mod folder and run the ModLoader again.
